Point of sale (POS) & checkout

🎬 Tour video: POS & checkout

Open the POS from the top bar (POS, /admin/pos.php). It is built into the same system as your tickets, stock and invoices — so a sale updates all of them in one motion.

Layout

The first time you open the POS a short guided tour points these out.

Selling a repair pickup (ticket → paid)

  1. Type or scan the ticket number in 🔁 Ticket # and press Enter. The repair lands in the cart with the customer attached — a green pill shows Checking out ticket #… (click to release).
  2. Add any extra products (e.g. a screen protector) by clicking them in the catalog.
  3. Click 💳 Checkout. The payment dialog shows the amount and the methods: Card · Cash · MobilePay · Bank transfer · Trade-in Credit · Credit (customer) · Gift card.
  4. Pick the method. For cash, enter the amount received — the change is calculated.
  5. Click ✓ Confirm sale.

The green toast confirms: Sale completed — Invoice … · amount · ticket #. In that one step the receipt is printed, the invoice is booked, stock is decremented, and the ticket is closed.

Payments setup

Card terminals (e.g. SumUp), MobilePay and other methods are configured under Settings / Integrations. Until a terminal is connected, card payments are simply recorded as Paid by card.

FAQ

Discounts? Per line (amount or %) and on the whole cart via the Discount row.

Wrong item in the cart? Click ✕ on the line, or 🗑 Cancel to clear the cart.

Does a walk-in sale need a customer? No — Walk-in Customer is fine. Attach a real customer (search by name/phone) when you want the sale on their card, e.g. for loyalty points or credit.
